Everyone doing their bit
One way I thought could drive behaviour change was to create a campaign with a really simple message. I chose three simple words that people use every day, that all ages can understand and most importantly, remember.

This is the focus of my campaign.
Engage with customers
Along side the three words, I created icons that customers can visually relate to and again, remember. Using a secondary colour from Severn Trent's core palette as the flash/accent colour.

I created icons rather than use real images of blockages and leaks as these could portray a negative image. The current photography gives a warm feel and so icons would be an easier way to show customers the three key areas.
Putting a face to the team
I thought it would be a great idea to engage with the customers and show them who Severn Trent are. We all know Severn Trent are the water people but showing a friendly face or team would create an emotional connection towards the brand.

Hints & Tips from experts they can trust could make it easier for customers to understand how to prepare for winter.
Let’s work together this winter
With the human aspect in mind, I created the tagline, "Let’s work together this winter". With winter being a challenging time for the business, I wanted to show how customers and Severn Trent could work together to make this an easier time.

We need everyone to do their bit, customers and Severn Trent. Encouraging customers to make behavioural changes can prevent Severn Trent getting overrun with call-outs because of a burst pipe or blockage.

Videos are a great way to tell a story and creating this digital advert for Instagram meant that it would be easily accessible by customers and also shared.
